What does it look like for residents?
At a glance, residents see which spots are free right now, from whom, and until when, and book them with one tap. If a spot has a charging point, that's shown right away as its own label, so you can pick a chargeable spot in the same glance without searching separately. No more asking around in the neighbourhood chat.

What is LokaalParkeren?
LokaalParkeren is an app that lets residents of an apartment building, HOA or housing co-op temporarily lend their own parking spot to neighbours when they're not using it. No waiting list and no WhatsApp group needed: residents see directly in the app which spots are free right now and book with one tap. That way, spots that would otherwise sit empty (for example because a resident is on holiday or no longer owns a car) stay useful for the neighbours.

At a pilot building, 700+ bookings have been made so far and more than 8,000 hours of parking time have been shared, by 70+ owners who shared their spot at least once. Residents of that building already saved €12,217 on parking costs in six weeks, without adding a single spot. More than 120+ residents also booked a spot through the app at least once.
What does LokaalParkeren cost for our building?
Sharing between residents can be completely free; an HOA can also choose to let residents pay each other a small fee. What fits your building, we work out together in a no-obligation conversation. Trying it out is always free. LokaalParkeren itself doesn't process payments between residents; any fee is settled directly between them.
Can residents of another building see my data or spot?
No. Every HOA or building gets its own screened-off environment on its own subdomain: data and available spots are never shared with other buildings. It's screened off by default within your own building too: a spot only opens up when its owner makes it available.
Do we need an IT department to use LokaalParkeren?
No. You only need one active admin to set up the environment and invite residents; no technical knowledge or in-house IT department required. Residents log in via a link in their phone's browser, with no app install or password required.
Does this also work for a business with an empty parking garage?
Yes, the same principle works just as well between colleagues or neighbouring businesses: a closed group sharing spots among themselves, just like a VvE. It's not a public rental service; you decide yourself who gets access.
